I don't believe this is judgement, but a chastisement. A call to repentance. And YHVH chastises those He loves. So, we find ourselves at Deuteronomy 28, blessings or curses. We also find ourselves in revelation, as the head shall become the tail.

This isn't judgement on those in the path of the hurricanes, but a call to the nation as a whole.

At least that is how I see it.

My heart breaks for those who have been stricken by these hurricanes. I see that YHVH allowed them and that it is an avenue for people to contemplate which way they really want to go. Yes, there are weather weapons, and they may have been used, but YHVH allowed it, and also spared millions.

So, I think the point people need to consider isn't how "righteous" some person is, but whether or not they can stand up to perfect righteousness even in their own eyes.

I know I can't. Even though I try, I am not, and will not become perfect through my own efforts. I need forgiveness and grace. And I still have to be willing to listen and change what I can about my errors.

My prayer is that people see YHVH's love, and realize love isn't always giving your child ice cream because they like it.

There is much more good about this America than evil. Since you are probably a closet Muslim you see this country as evil.

Sounds interesting to me. Are you now saying that the harvest of barley and wheat(those whose names are found written in the book) must occur, and the oil and wine (ministers protected) not hurt?

Then of course it would make sense because the only element left that would be used by God would be EARTH. Because it follows as EARTH, WIND, WATER, and FIRE.

Observation reveals that without a godly grief and turning from one's sin, the mass "conversions" that we see on Sunday mornings or at these huge stadium-filled rallies are nothing but a mere "moment of decision." They do not result in saving faith. This is the easy-believism that has wreaked havoc in our churches, leading to packed pews for the Sunday morning show, but very few churchgoers who are actually saved. It's the removal of repentance from the Gospel message that leads to a false assurance of salvation for so many. Did you pray the prayer? Walk the aisle? Get all tingly and start to cry when the music played? Well, then you must be saved. NO! 

Christians today are in a battle, not of weapons, but of truth. Remember the words of the apostle Paul:

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
(2 Timothy 4:3-4)
