I could believe this. For some reason, I'm finding Bourdain's "suicide" more troubling than, say, Kate Spade's. I would think someone like Bourdain himself would find it shitty to off oneself and leave behind a young child, he wasn't a dummy. He even said in interviews that he was sticking around in life at least partly for his kid.

And I find it super suspicious that the media just started running stories about the spike in the US suicide rate. Almost as if to suggest to everyone not to think too much about this apparent rash of high-profile suicides, that we should all just chalk it up to the increased suicide rate in the US. Convenient, I think.
