How often has Bush used this (kidnap, beheading) distraction to shut up political and/or social opposition against more defense spending? How much opposition is Blair facing over £76 billion for updating UK Trident missiles? How much opposition will Blair face tomorrow?

Countries like Canada that do dick and enjoy the security afforded them due to geographical co-incidence because nations like America and Britain do what needs to be done as far as global security is concerned, while they sit on their asses and do little else than bitch and moan about it.
