Yes, but who knows what laws of nature apply to a hurricane and the ocean receding. The missing water may also show up somewhere else but i doubt the Bahamas just lost all of their oceans. It WILL return, but how is the question and given natures example....not nice.

Very common phenomenon with such high winds pulling the water out; it will come back in due time (and NOT as a tsunami).

Is it around low tide?? The pacfic ocean recedes that far during low tide if you new what time the video was taken you could look at a tide chart. I'm sure it's just low tide. And if there was a big quake around that area I for sure wouldn't be out exploring. So my vote is on tides

Even if this is true, I haven't heard of a hurricane actually sucking away remotely this much water for any length of time. Are we sure that Hurricane Irma isn't really The Nothing from the Never Ending Story?

I think the warning is to be to Fla because the Irma is probably going to dump that water on FLA in both storm surge and rain.

Also, the atlantic receded in Brazil, yesterday. Spooky shit going on.
