Irma is like a huge vacuum, it's temporarily pulling all the water up around it. It's an intense low pressure, so it's literally like an ocean vacuum.

This. Bahamas means shallows. It's like a big barely submerged plateau. The beaches go out forever, and even between the islands, except for the part they call "the Tongue of the Ocean, much of it is only 10 -20 feet deep.

The doomy part is that except for Andros, the 700 islands are just slightly higher than the surrounding shoals.

The storm surge after that water came back must have gone right over a lot of terrain.

This storm has a growing number of oddities associated with it. The almost stop at Cuba's coast, it's intensity through the Caribbean, the ocean receding in the Bahamas,it's size, the media coverage. I wonder what else is in store? Is it cover for something else? Maybe just a bunch of coincidences?

Do they have tides there though? I recall seeing an almost full moon the other night, could just be a normal thing.

Of course its low tide there is no fish they go out with the tide cos it goes out slowly if this happened suddenly there would be fish everywhere like in a Tsunami.

It's probably a Category 6. The whole state of Florida will be under water for sure. Watch the news. Eat some popcorn. The butterfly effect is here....chaos theory coming into play.... So much for a hurricane party....
