Tampa - We Survived and we still have lights.
So, I had to leave my Boca Ciega Bay Condo due to Level A Red evacuation at St Pete Beach Area.

Went to my son's in Brandon / Valrico Florida.

Lights did flicker a few times.. but had electric all night and day. My son's home 5 /4 bath is in a new development ... all under ground utilities and the house was built to take a level 5 hurricane.

His pool even has hurricane tie down straps on the pool cage.

It is an affluent gated community.
His home is on a bit higher elevation.

But really, none of the above means much, hurricanes are playing Russian rollett with wind water and lightening.

Hoping to get back to my condo today, but a bit worried about driving back.

I also have 2 offices in Tampa that I am going to try and check on today.

I pray all our GLP family and friends have made it out of danger way and still have their homes in tack.

These hurricanes are wild and unpredictable.

Blessings to you all today.

Glad you are safe... Hope others in the area are also.
IF YOU HAVE A FEVER DO NOT LOWER IT WITH MEDS.... A FEVER IS AN IMMUNE SYSTEM RESPONSE TO A PATHOGEN (VIRUS, BACTERIA ETC..) IT MEANS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS WORKING PROPERLY....DONT USE DRUGS TO LOWER YOUR TEMP.

I know they sealed off Pinellas county until damage is assessed, so you might want to check to see if that has been lifted before you come back

I got home... we have electric, there had been a small surge of water over the parking lot from the bay. but other than that nothing bad.

I live on a peninsula 3 sides water.

We are 5 miles form Madeira Beach 2 miles from St Pete beach
