Probably because it's a conspiracy forum and people are interested in these things and hate to see bad things happen to innocent people. Noticed a growing trend in people desperate for bad things to happen. Genuinely can't understand that. The only reason I can think of is there are a lot of sad lonely people with nothing to live for who are desperate for doom.

I fear GLP is being taken over by a shadowy anti-doom conspiracy group. They infect every thread, like a virus.

I've only been in the hardcore camp since 2004, but in that time, I have seen a MASSIVE increase in EQs, volcanic eruptions, windstorms, along with the ever whitening sun, insane geopolitical events, weird weather, and the daddy of them all of course, yellowstone seemingly on the brink

it PISSES us all off that people cannot seem to see what is going on, and yes, that pissed off attitude probably does come out sometimes as 'i hope it all ends'. Not from me btw, I want this shit to end, but it won't. not without billions of lives lost, and very possibly even the extinction of the human race

i dont even bother trying to convince people any more. what's the point? it's gonna happen, and they'll see it all with their own eyes.
