For those who think "the law" was done away with, I used to think the same thing. But when you get to the point where you're well past what the ministers teach, and really digging in scripture and doing word studies, you cannot help but see that it is impossible for the Torah to have been done away with.

It's not possible for believers to currently keep the land commandments. The Temple commands cannot be kept as well. The commands for the Priesthood also cannot be kept so that leaves us with a little over 200 commandments to keep. Like not having sex with your niece, and not treating others unfairly. It's really not hard. "My yoke is easy and my burden is light", is what Yeshua said. There is a yoke, and there is a burden, but it isn't grievous.

A few points about salvation, if you will tolerate it...

Torah defines what "sin" actually is.

To be saved by grace through faith is true, but you do not keep sinning, else you impale Messiah again.

If the definition of sin is no longer in effect, than there would be NO need for salvation.

By saying the Torah is gone, you are saying it is okay to sin and not repent. And for those who love Yeshua Messiah and feel that sacrifice and restoration to YHVH, they know in their spirit that salvation from sin is necessary.

Peter said that Shaul (Paul) was terribly misunderstood. His railings against the "law" were not against the Torah of YHVH, but against the law of the rabbi's which added to Torah. 2nd Peter 3:15-16:

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Hoping this helps someone who's struggling with coming into full covenant with Yeshua. Remember, His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.
