Re: Favorite BEER
Has nobody stated the obvious? Augustiner Helles. When Munich natives turn their nose up to the tourists going into the haufbrau house, yet take themselves down the street to the Augustiner kellar, you know it's special. The closest thing I've tasted to it in the states is Goodnight brewery's Two Goats wedding lager.

Erdinger Weißbier - Germany (by Munich)!!

I am not German, but Germans have definitely mastered the art of Beer making!!

Weltenburger Kloster Beer! Oldest Monastery brewery in the world! Luckily I live only 1 hour from it and visit it 1-2 times a year!! The beer is sooo smooth, but packs a punch for those not used to German beer!! These Monks know how to make beer!!

The monastery brewery Weltenburg is the oldest monastery brewery in the world, where the noble barley juice was brewed in the year 1050. The beer has always been brewed in the tradition of the Benedictines.
