When I'm feeling rich Goose Island Bourbon County Stout $12 a pint ( technically not Beer per say) Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then. If the more I know, the more I know I don’t know, then do I truly know what I know because I know I don’t? You cannot reach a correct conclusion if you begin with an incorrect assumption |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62646517 Keep your dopplebock, IPA, nonsense I don't know how those bastards even get to smell or taste the beer over the stench of their corroded beards and stank pits That's ridiculous. There are hundreds of microbreweries in the US alone. Scratching them all off the list because you can't venture outside of your macrobrewed piss water doesn't do you any favors. As to OP: I currently am cycling between Two Hearted Ale, Velveteen Habit by Ale Asylum, and Founder's Centennial IPA. But I try not to get stuck on one for too long. Way too many to try and I'm not drinking nearly enough! |

I would get served at age 13 and would be the 'go to' person for beer by much older teenagers to 20 year olds who would get carded. I had my own routine: 3 piece suit, wide brim hat with an overcoat, a burning cigar in hand & low pitched voice w/ fake european accent. That was how I procured FREE BEER and never got in any trouble. Beer seemed to taste better when u knew u couldn't legally buy it, then it got boring when i was of age. The last real good beer I used to buy in that epoch was called "Ehrlanger". Anyone remember that beer? Both the beer AND the airliner are both defunct in this ad: |

Anubis User ID: 29687344 Canada 09/19/2017 10:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | we have a local atrisan brewery here they make something called "All Hops for a Basement" thats my fave at the moment IBU 65 ABV 6.6% This beer pours a slightly hazy, dark apricot amber colour, with a fistful of puffy, rocky, and chunky beige head, which leaves some splendid tacky snow rime lace around the glass as it slowly and fitfully recedes. It smells of resinous pine needles, bready and doughy caramel malt, a gently phenolic yeastiness, muddled domestic citrus notes, and further leafy, weedy, and sort of perfumed floral green hop bitters. The taste leads off with dank pine resin, some heady caramel/toffee malt sweetness, mixed and matched citrus and tropical fruit measures, ephemeral yeast, a hint of innocuous scallion astringency, and more leafy, herbal, and grassy verdant hoppiness.
