What you mean is that they are telling us NOW, is that it will miss the earth, Originally they said it would IMPACT Earth or contact our atmosphere!
Then NASA recalculated the data and said it would just miss us, and you believe that BS?
I think they are hiding the truth as it would be a E.L.E. or a Near E.L.E. event, if it hits us or comes very, very close to hitting us.

Considering that Book of Revelation speaks of such events, (The Trumpets and Wormwood in Rev. Ch 8 and 9, and especially Ch 8:7-11). I suspect it is to preclude panic, up until the last minute.
Plus, no Scientist would like to admit that Bible Prophecy might be right, as it might cause people to doubt Science(Evolution, Age of the Earth, etc) and accept other Bible facts as well.

No one every said it would impact Earth. What was said that if it hit the keyhole in 2006 it could hit the Earth, but there was not enough information to say before 2006. In 2006, it missed the keyhole.

Can't even let today's date finish failing without doom before setting a new one.

I remember when Apophis last took a run past Earth.
Early days of the internet.
Early calculations said it would strike Earth and that was put out on the internet and went as viral as something could back then.
Next day better calculations showed it would miss.

ir is going to miss. they were once afraid it would pass through a keyhole that would cause it to come back around and hit us a few years later. that isnt going to happen either. the last time it passed they got great data on its orbit and it has been written off completely. so no doom. at least not from apophis.
