1. Owners set the tune. Goodell does exactly what they tell him. In fact the owners just gave Goodell a new 10 year contract.

3. Maybe it's good to divide sometimes. Owners were using NFL and NBA to push their globalist agendas. There's more damage than value gained by "unifying" or "coming together" on those terms.

4. True, that's what we are doing, by isolating an enemy: the ownership of the NFL and NBA teams. The players are overpaid and often obnoxious, but they will be collateral damage. Easy come, easy go.

Don't want to link, as don't want to get banned, but google Think Progress' "kapernick knee protest tracker" - great graphic that shows how this had already spread from Kapernick last year to every team in the NFL this year, and even to high school teams in the Northeast - the take a knee was already exploding exponentially, Trump just called it out.

I can still watch my local team on free TV - but I don't have to give them any more money. I typically go to a few games live each year - never again.
