It's time to boycott sponsors of the NFL and individual players
My family and I enjoy spending time watching our team play after church. Usually it became a large group event with friends and family joining us. It was a time for relaxing, laughing, and enjoying the company. The last thing I want to hear or see is a fraternity of billionaires and millionaires bringing politics to this sport.

The NFL, under Goodell, is inconsistent on handing out punishments and even disregards its own rules for political reasons. Either you follow the rules or why have them. So this past Sunday was the last straw. We decided to cancel and asked for a refund on the NFL Ticket package, stopped visiting ESPN, and canceled Comcast TV. I also changed our cell phone service from Verizon (NFL sponsor). Most of our friends and family have followed us in our boycott.

Some of you may say, so what. But if others joined in, then the money hungry league and kneeling players would feel the effects of their action in the pocketbooks. Our loyalty to our Country, Flag, and National anthem clearly outweighs a few hours a week of politicized entertainment. We also have asked our congressmen to revoke the NFL's 501(c)6 tax exempt status.

We will now gather for social time, board games, good food, and relaxation.
I ask that if you feel the same as we do, then please join us.

It's time to boycott all sponsors, starting with Nike. Please add any that are missed, including player sponsors. Thanks for reading my rant.

I agree, and dumped the NFL Package 10 minutes ago. Also e-mailed my team to explain why I will not support them from this point forward. I'm looking at the sponsors to see which ones to dump or avoid.
