Re: The Words "I am"
Related to the verb weben (wbn), meaning "to rise", "rise in brilliance" or "shine" as well as ben-ben, the up thrust sacred stone of Heliopolis, benu (bennu) describes a bird that was an important avian deity. Originally of solar associations, the Benu bird came to be connected with three important gods consisting of Atum, Re and Osiris.
As an aspect of Atum, the Benu bird was said to have flown over the waters of Nun before the original creation.

Hamza

Hamza (ء) is a letter in the Arabic alphabet, representing the glottal stop [ʔ]. Hamza is not one of the 28 "full" letters, and owes its existence to historical orthographical inconsistencies in early Islamic times. In the Phoenician and Aramaic alphabets, from which the Arabic alphabet is descended, the glottal stop was expressed by ʼāleph, continued by Arabic ʼalif. However, alif was used to express both a glottal stop, and a long vowel [a:]. To indicate that a glottal stop, and not a mere vowel, was intended, hamza was added diacritically to alif. In modern orthography, under certain circumstances, hamza may also appear on the line, as if it were a full letter, independent of an alif.

Image:Buddha with Naga (snake).
Description This painting depicts the Buddha while meditating just before attaining enlightenment. A big naga (snake with psychic powers) came up begind him and liftend him from the ground, and spread its hood above him to protect him from the rain which was just starting to fall. Many Buddha-images are also made with the buddha being sheltered by the naga.

Re: The Words "I am"
As this page was inspired by Year of the Water Horse
In 2002, I asked Karma Dechen Drolkar, an accomplished Tibetan translator, whether "water horse" was ever used as a phrase in Tibetan to refer to the Makara. She explained:

" . . . water horse, the Tibetan would be chu ta: chu = water and ta = horse. There isn't any other meaning to that expression, it refers simply to one of the years of the twelve year cycle. As for hippotamus, it's tsho phak in Tibetan, 'lake pig.' And the common word for crocodile in Tibetan is chu sin, 'water demon.' Makara is either directly borrowed from its Sanskrit equivalent and transliterated as such in Tibetan, or it is a word that refers to the mythological version of the crocodile, much like seng ge for 'mythological snow lion' and dam seng, 'everyday lion'. The ancient rabbis pursued the science of gematria, which derives meaning from the numerical value of words. A rabbi so trained would look for the meaning of the value 358. There are three distinct uses of that value in the Bible, that refer to the Messiah. The first is the Hebrew word translated "messiah" at Dan. 9:25. It has a numerical value of 358.

In Genesis 49:10 is a prophecy which uses "Shiloh" to refer to the messiah. "The scepter shall not depart from Judah...until Shiloh comes." (Genesis 49:10) The ancient rabbis agreed that "Shiloh" refers to the Messiah and the value of yeba Shiloh, "Shiloh comes", is 358. "The sceptre" here refers to kingly rulership, which departed from Judah in 70 A.D. Thus the Messiah must have come before then. Of course, Jesus did. Shiloh has come!

A third use of a messianic word for Messiah with a value of 358 is nachash. This word means "serpent" at Numbers 21:9, and Jesus used it to refer to Himself at John 3:14. ("Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, the Son of Man must also be lifted up.") Thus we can see God's purpose in providentially allowing the dreidel numbers to equal 358. The meaning of the words "A GREAT SIGN HAPPENED THERE" must refer to the Messiah. This phraseology would instinctively lead a Jew to Isaiah's prophecy:

"The Lord Himself will give you a SIGN: Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14)

Immanuel, God with us! Matthew uses this prophecy to refer to Jesus' birth, in Bethlehem. Thus the great sign is the virgin birth of God (for Immanuel means "God with us", Matt. 1:23). A great sign indeed!!! Our minds are dull and slow to fathom this wonderful thing.

Re: The Words "I am"
Definition of omnipotent :

almighty: having unlimited power

...I see nothing about "omnipotent" meaning that God is all things. It means He knows all things... unlimited power, unlimited knowlegde.

Therefore, clearly, no. We're not all One and we're not all God.

Take a visit to the dictionary, sis.

I see what you are trying to say and I agree... at a first look. Of course just using the definition does not right away agree with what I am saying. Its actually your words after that really got me thinking. So please answer this if you would:

God has unlimited power and unlimited knowledge. This would mean that he isn't just functioning at the top of knowlege and power, but at each level. Therefore, God simultaneously is experiencing every level of power and knowlege at once, correct? If we are only existing at one level of knowlege and power, and God is experiencing this always infinitley does he not experience every individual's level of knowlege and power? Does he not experience your and my level of knowlege and power, while experiencing all of these levels? While fully knowing the full potential of power and of knowlege? If this is so then are we not God? Are we not experincing a chunk of knowlege and power God is always? If so, must we not be of God? God completely encompasses us, does God not? If he is us then so must we be him?

To me it is just a trial of re-membering for which using power words like "I am" are very, well, powerful.

Perhaps a better word is omnipresent. Do you believe God to be omnipresent?
Quoting: ~ Allie

what you are describing is a fractal, yes we as an individual make up the whole, our spark (energy) comes from the creator, how we use it is up to us.

The energy can be given off as good or bad, good if it helps another or the whole.

Shalom.

The Torah begins with "In the beginning God created (alef-tov)" This is the alpha and omega of the Hebrew alphabet.

The name YHVH is called the “Shem HaMeforesh” or “Brilliant Name of Fire.” It is often simply referred to as “HaShem” (lit. “The Name”), reflecting its principality. Some regard the Word as a composite of the past, present, and future tense forms of the verb root, “to be” hayah.
