It's God's mountain.

This reminded me my uncle who had told me when he was watching the moon landing with my great grandfather on television, my great grandfather jumped and called it fake and he also mentioned i think the nevada desert as the place where they recorded the shootings and he said that

"man is forbidden to go to the moon, as only god his angels and our souls are allowed there"

Also the principal in a religious school i went for few years was bragging how the leaders of Christianity won a debate over atheists when they were asked

"We went to the moon and we found no god, so god doesnt exist."

I was expecting the principal to say the christian leaders replied
"who the hell said our god lives on the moon?"
as religion always mentions the sky in general to be the place where the lunar god lives.

The principal said proudly that the christian leaders replied with this to the atheists

"Do you know God? that's why you didnt find him/see him cause you dont know him".

Implying and agreeing indirectly that god/lunar boss indeed lives on the moon and you need to believe in him like moses in this movie to show himself up to you. Actually moses didnt really believe in him, he just went to his mountain/moon and the lunar boss showed up hiding his face/true form as always.

And also my great grandfather didnt make it up on his own that god lives on the moon, he was very religious and he was told about it by his religious leaders/priests etc.

So this further exposes without a doubt of the "god's mountain" to symbolize our very moon!

Similar forbidden mountain was shown in witcher 3 where the trinity of witches/trinity lunar god were cooking and consuming human fools.
