This creation is fading away, the doors are closing. Soon, when prophecy is fulfilled to the extent that God allows, all who are destined to live forever will indeed be in a new habitat.
Now, these are only glimpses of what the Spirit has revealed to me, so accept or deny them based on what the Spirit acknowledges in you with these words.
Isaiah 65 teaches that God will create a new heavens and a new earth. This earth will be burned up as well as the heavens above us (the whole universe). At that time those who will live forever and who are wise will be spectators in God's display of action.
The new earth that is to be created will also have a new heavens. From what I understand this new earth will be far larger than the current one.
The Holy City, the capital of the new earth will be the New Jerusalem. A HUGE city. 1500 miles long, wide, and tall.
Then, God Almighty and the Lamb Jesus Christ will dwell with their people just as prophesied in Revelation 21.
Get your life right with the Lord, you will want to be a part of the next creation. Don't risk not being there, every desire of your heart, be it pure, will be fulfilled. There's no need for pride, call out to Christ Jesus today for your salvation if you have not already done so. It is not too late.
There will be family, friends, almost all "good" things in this creation will be preserved and moved into the next. But nothing detestable will be there. Praise the Lord!
An eternal celebration of life and love is coming, will you be there?
Isaiah 65:17-25 New Heavens and a New Earth 17 “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. 19 I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. 20 “Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach[a] a hundred will be considered accursed. 21 They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them. 24 Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the Lord.
Revelation 21:22-27 22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.
26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.
27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
