Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon reportedly said it would be "impossible" for President Trump to move to the left on gun control following the deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas, adding that it would be the "end of everything."

"Impossible: will be the end of everything," Bannon said in a text to an Axios reporter when asked if he could see the president supporting restrictions.

The president's former top aide also told the news outlet that it would be "actually worse" for Trump among his base of supporters if he backed gun control legislation than if he backed an amnesty bill for undocumented immigrants.

You have to read the question with an understanding of Bannon's opinion on the matter. The real question is:

"Is Bannon right or wrong on this issue?"

That's what I was trying to convey, but I didn't feel like making the poll question completely clear. It's not worth the effort for a thread like this. I wanted to save a minute and maybe get under the skin of a few people like you in the process. chuckle

I see why some Trump supporters want this thread to be ignored. What did Bannon write?

"Impossible: will be the end of everything"

Do you see the implications of that statement?

1. Trump is capable of pivoting to the left on certain issues.

2. Trump will only consider pivoting to the left on issues that his base doesn't care too much about.

Bannon just confirmed what I've been asserting for a long time...

Trump is a fraud.
