Las Vegas shooting ammo - what caliber used?
Have we heard from the Medical Examiner as to what caliber was used on the dead and wounded victims?

For the weapons experts out there, what caliber was used in the shootings? (I'm sure this will be different from what we are hearing from the media.)

For the airplane fuel tanks, what caliber would have been needed to pierce the tanks 2,000 feet away?

the sound was of the m240 machine gun, which shoots the 7.62 NATO, pretty much same as .308

You would need at least that round for the planes at that distance

Something like a .338 Lapua or .50 BMG

At that distance a .308 would only make a dent, and a .223 would probably only take the paint off and leave a mark.

As for the caliber used on the crowd, it had to be .223 I don't know if a bumpstock would work on a .308 AR

.223 and .308.

The tanks were not targeted.

I think this is dis-info.

2 rounds are not what we call 'targeted'.

EDIT: But if they were, it would depend on the tank type.

Some of those tanks are double lined and some include fire protection.

If they were double lined, as in two layers of steel, and fire proofed, they could be 3 inches thick.

“One round penetrated Tank 202, which was partially filled with jet fuel,” the airport statement said. “A second round was found lodged within the same tank’s outer steel shell, and did not penetrate. This tank was subsequently evaluated by experts who found no evidence of smoke nor fire.”

I find this highly unlikely.

I don't think a .223 or .308 could penetrate a half inch of steel at 2500 feet.

To pierce those tanks, from that distance would have required a .50 cal round. IMO

.223 just plain ol 55gr FMJ? HP? SP?

Fuel in those tanks is Jet A Kerosene. I don't think it would go off even if it did penetrate.

ZERO chance of a .223 penetrating at that range. I would be highly doubtful of a .308 getting through either, but I guess it's not impossible.

Also, the tanks were probably more like 1/4 inch as opposed to 1/2 inch.

Each shell is 1/4th inch. They are normally double lined.

But yeah, a .223 nor .308 would have penetrated that tank at that distance.

So the story on the tanks is bullshit based on what we know, or a higher caliber of weapon was used than what we are being told about.

Yeah... Maybe a 30 ap round but I even doubt that... A high power rifle will go through 1/2 mild steel at close range like a hot knife through butter but I've never seen it penetrated by even a 44 mag pistol.... At the range he was shooting a 7.62 only has the valocity and energy of a 357 mag. revolver

I remember my dad blowing off the top of a wood chuck's head at half a mile with a .308 rifle. You could see the bottom jaw teeth, the rest was gone. He stuck his head up on the hill across from us.

It's dried up now, you used to be able to buy mil surplus 30.06 and 7.62 AP and API. Not sure at that distance if either round would penetrate a fuel tank.

Belt fed .308... Exactly what I've said from the beginning.

There's no doubt that was one of the guns used.

Kamala Harris is not a Natural Born Citizen. She's illegally running.

Used by the Founders...
Book I of The Law of Nations, Chapter XIX, § 212 (Joseph Chitty numbering) – “Citizens and natives”
reads: 'The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to
its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in
the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by
the children of the citizens
, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all
their rights.' 1758 Emerich de Vattel

2. Term Limits for Federal politicians and judges.
3. Mental and health standards for Supreme Court Justices and retirement age set.
4. A 'Star Chamber' of elected Natural Born Citizens (no attorney's) to ivestigate, try, and prosecute the politicians and government employee's as they see fit.
