The fires now burning in California are burning in white, conservative, wealthy wine country. The Governor had the Guard sentencing medivac units on Sun, Mon. BUT he refused to send in the firefighting units until last night/ yesterday time frame. The Governor knew these fires were not being contained and intentionally held the Guard back. This can be confirmed by searching "California National Guard and wildfires" and by searching the social media pages of the Guard units as they show images of the troops mobilizing. It is the belief of many thAt these fires were arson. It is inexcusable that Brown held the Guard back. ***and get this...it is also being reported that the Emergency Broadcast System COMPLETELY FAILED. I live in the area and left due to smoke. This isn't rumor.

Very irritating to hear this. Add that you pay an exorbitant amount of State income tax for the privilege of living here you would think that all the public service you depend upon are the finest in the United States. Too bad that most of the tax money, sorry,..."revenue", collected by the State continually goes towards failing Democratic programs and wasteful spending. There's a good reason some of my very good friends and native Californian's are leaving this fucked up State....well the State is not fucked up it's some of the people and most of the politicians.
