In fact there is a significant amount of stuff in the way they live that is much safer in the long run than what we are doing. We are doing something new, unknown, living like we do.. There's no long term prediction of any effects living in cell tower fields will have on us, for example LTC: Li9AgUVbapPLuqncJaRC5wDQ7HNg69rjkH |

Larry D. Croc User ID: 70736097 United States 10/22/2017 11:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Amish people are generally considered foolish, due to the fact that they are living a simple life and don’t use the advantages of technology. However, the statistics show that these people are actually much healthier when compared to the rest of American population. They rarely get sick; have no autism and no cancer! [link to www.hlfteam.com] Quoting: Polr 56633864 I'd look to their food and lifestyle, i.e. things they do every bit as much as things they don't do. And given their restricted gene pool it could also be that the gene never got into their pool as well. Not second guessing your hypothesis, just think it needs to be looked at more broadly. Maiya It's kind of fun to do the impossible. User ID: 75727025 United States 10/22/2017 05:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I call BS. I see the Amish at my local Walmart buying cases of soda pop. The Amish guy that put my roof on has two cell phones! I looked it up once and their life expectancy is the same as non Amish. Not all Amish are Old Order. Yes they booze it up. Many police chases of them in their horse and buggy trying to outrun the cops. They never thought she would lose. Now they all lose. |

Also, most Amish vaccinate. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 75672287 United States 10/22/2017 06:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They also get autism. Where the rub is here is that it appears that the Amish vaccinate at lower rates and also have a decreased incidence of Autism. A detailed study that would take into account their better diets would only be the start of understanding. No one seems to want to undertake this. |
