Actually this bias is legit - Ive seen it happen with Hispanics as well
In my experience the colour of the case manager didnt matter (my town has all white) but the colour of the person applying certainly did.
The amount of deference and priority is astounding.
I wish anyone going into that system good luck - youll fucking need it
Or bribe your caseworker with cookies. lol jk
