Smartcash seems pretty legit to get into, and at this point low enough sats ,should be able to stack and sit. anyways ill check back in a little later the ccminer starts but immediately and unpromtped exits the cmd screen for running the miner. I started an account, got my address etc, but having trouble finding a batch file to edit. any help would be awesome. thanks a bunch Slow is Smooth, Smooth is Fast. "Why am I sticky and naked? Cryptos will be accepted on other point of sale terminals in the near future...I mean those terminals you swipe your card through at the gas station grocery store everywhere In my minds eye i already see point of sale terminals mining crypto with idle time for business owners would already be viable with the ARM processors they have car powered mining....imagine a gas coin you mine with your cars onboard system that generates a coin specifically for buying gas making your car pay for its own gas... this is just my dull brain its coming bye bye bank |

Its cool to see everyday at home people are getting more involved. Just checked the thread, once I have time ill review your instructions a little more thoroughly. Getting ready to head out for another cord of Doug Fir, as it seems its going to be a pretty darn cold winter. Another cyrpto that seems promising is blakstar.io promising company, Ive been mining here and there on different stuff, but am still learning the process and my best option. After return on investment you are just generating coins How much you make really depends on what coins you choose you dont know where the market will go so you cannot guarantee income. once you have a good hodl of a coin that takes off you could take that money and use it for your living expenses for a couple years while you keep mining/creating your spread and hope it goes to moon |

y2 (OP) User ID: 75498674 United States 10/25/2017 01:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | mining solo is a bit more complex but definitely worth it once you get it pools give out fractions of the block reward split among all miners in the pool if you arent the fastest miner you will never really generate much. went through that when i started Was mining ZEN CASH when it was $8 and accumuated .5 of one a day for a week. not enough to get in the game. but i took those and traded for others Now ZEN is at $24 When you solo mine you get the entire block reward....which varies depending on what you are mining Smartcash is only a few months old so it is easy at this point to generate 1-4 blocks a day the difficulty goes up and down depending on the block you are hashing on Every smartcash block is at 240 smart so even at mere cents you are pulling in more than average right now |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75747846 Is the difficulty poised to grow, as it did with btc? Thank you. running windows 7 The CPU doesn't have much if anything to do with GPU mining The difficulty will grow and the block reward will change over time yes The calculation goes like this per smartdev SmartCash Parameters Coins per Block: 5000 coins (with gradual reduction per equation below) Blocktime: 55 seconds Maximum supply: 5,000,000,000 Blocksize: 1 MB (to be changed to Adaptive Blocks) Algorithm: Keccak Difficulty Management: BRNDF BLOCK REWARD SPLIT: 20% MINERS/SMARTREWARDS 80% SMARTHIVE/HIVETEAMS There wasn't a premine, the block reward is calculated as 5000x(143,500/block height) with a maximum block reward of 5000. After block 143,500 the block reward will start decreasing. |

Where can I find a guide about the hardware I would need to start mining or what kind of hardware would you suggest? get 2 or three NVIDIA GPUs and a desktop computer preferably windows but people do this on mac too Nvidia seems to hash faster than the AMDs. had one and sold it also Nvidia and AMD run on seperate mining software so if you have a combination of both you will need to run two miners/2 .bat files/2.config it just doubles the difficulty There are a ton of walkthroughs on youtube for setting up rigs and lists of exactly what you need to begin from my experience i prefer all nvidia You will need a psu (power supply) for plugging in your rig so you dont blow up your house you will need to buy additional risers pcie16x-1x powered riser adapter cards to plug each additional GPU into these will not fit in your normal towers mine gpus are sitting on a book and ontop of the tower connected by the power supply to rig When it comes to what mining software you will use it depends on what algorithm you would like to hash on each coin hashes on its own chosen algorithm and people prefer one over others and this can drive why they prefer a coin over others The other thing mining software depends on is what GPU you run. some miners may support nvidia but not amd or amd not nvidia or only CPU YES all of this works with a cpu too its a beautiful beast |
