To those of you mining CRYPTOcurrency or beginners SAY IT WITH ME Smartcash
Recently there seems to be a lot of talk about new cryptos on this site. So I have something to say and perhaps it will get some of you on a good one especially if you are new to mining/trading/holdling

$2.50 seems to be the average a miner brings in per 24h per GPU

This is a gross underestimation of potential
Currently solo mining SmartCash

Today my rig mined (so far)
3 Blocks at 240 Smartcash per block = 720 Smartcash
1 Smartcash = .10 USD currently
$24.00 per block x 3

Total of $72.00 USD within 24 hours
HELLO
Got in on the electroneum yall are gabbin about for free with one day earning

SMARTCASH
Algorithm - Keccak
Block Reward - 240
relatively Low network hashrate 5Th/s

My rig is 3 Nvidia GPUs 1 1060 and 2 1070
CGminer 3.7.2

Another great thing about this coin is SMARTREWARDS

With smartrewards each wallet containing at least 1000 coins is paid an automatic bonus each month The SmartRewards will come out of the 15% block reward allocation, see Smartcash website for details and handy calculator

This month with my current balance I will receive about 2500 smartcash just for my Stake. thats 250 dolla at current prices YAY

This encourages hodling
shes been good to me and i want to see her fly

If you have mining questions or ideas pls comment!
I cant wait to get bashed!

Also guess I should give my hash rates with these cards for those of you wondering what the hashes per second are on these cards

on Keccak algo am getting 2.17 Gh/s

H/s changes for each algorithm

Re: To those of you mining CRYPTOcurrency or beginners SAY IT WITH ME Smartcash
quick question
which miner are you using?
ive downloaded both and i see no batch files to edit,
could you explain the process to get this up and running?

Smartcash seems pretty legit to get into, and at this point low enough sats ,should be able to stack and sit.

anyways ill check back in a little later

the ccminer starts but immediately and unpromtped exits the cmd screen for running the miner.

I started an account, got my address etc, but having trouble finding a batch file to edit.

any help would be awesome.
thanks a bunch

Re: To those of you mining CRYPTOcurrency or beginners SAY IT WITH ME Smartcash
using cgminer 3.7.2

create a smartcash.conf file in your user/appdata/roaming/smartcash

and add this to it

listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcport=9679
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowzip=127.16.*.*
keypool=10000

as for the miner files

go into cgminer file and add/create a solo.bat file containing the following

cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:9679 -u yourminername -p yourpassword - -I 10 --auto-gpu

This is a basic setup
for multiple GPU see CGMiner readme

If you have problems with the command prompt closing too quickly edit your solo.bat to say "pause" at the end so you can see the issue

The Smartcash wallet needs to be set to server mode
Right click on your smartcash.qt-exe and choose send to desktop
on the desktop right click on the icon you just created and select properties
at the end of the target statement write -server

and for those of you who don't see crypto going to the masses
the point of sale industry has already created apps to run on
INGENICO terminals to accept bitcoins. Cryptos will be accepted on other point of sale terminals in the near future...I mean those terminals you swipe your card through at the gas station grocery store everywhere

In my minds eye i already see point of sale terminals mining crypto with idle time for business owners would already be viable with the ARM processors they have

car powered mining....imagine a gas coin you mine with your cars onboard system that generates a coin specifically for buying gas making your car pay for its own gas...

this is just my dull brain

its coming

The fact is you can mine whatever shit coin or coin you believe in that is profitable...which has to do with total network hashrate and what you are working with etc, and trade them in minutes for bitcoin to keep in your wallet

no asics needed
no putting your money or credit card anywhere on the computer to purchase

generate them

spent about 1200 dollars to get this rig up and running

2 month return on investment mining smartcash

keep at least 1000 in your smartcash wallet for the monthly snapshot and bonus and go mine other shit if you like

the $250 in smart reward i will make this month will transfer into bitcoin on the exchange and then to the bitcoin wallet on my computer

rises and falls with the price of btc

this is not investment advice
current smartcash price

SmartCash (SMART) $0.142226

All calculations were done on .10 cents
almost 1/4 better at this moment

Hey y2,

Oh ya for sure...all this stuff is pretty interesting.

Its cool to see everyday at home people are getting more involved.

Just checked the thread, once I have time ill review your instructions a little more thoroughly.

Getting ready to head out for another cord of Doug Fir, as it seems its going to be a pretty darn cold winter.

Another cyrpto that seems promising is

blakstar.io

promising company, Ive been mining here and there on different stuff, but am still learning the process and my best option.

Anyways great to meet you, Ill chat with you later.

Thanks for the info and your time,

Hi, thanks.

Is mining really the best way to go? I want to work from home basically but I also want to be able to make over 100k/yr.

Mining is the best if you want to get free crypto

I dont want to spend $200 on an ICO to be rich

Just invest using what you mine.

After return on investment you are just generating coins

How much you make really depends on what coins you choose
you dont know where the market will go
so you cannot guarantee income.
once you have a good hodl of a coin that takes off you could take that money and use it for your living expenses for a couple years while you keep mining/creating your spread and hope it goes to moon

Re: To those of you mining CRYPTOcurrency or beginners SAY IT WITH ME Smartcash
mining solo is a bit more complex but definitely worth it once you get it

pools give out fractions of the block reward split among all miners in the pool

if you arent the fastest miner you will never really generate
much. went through that when i started

Was mining ZEN CASH when it was $8 and accumuated .5 of one a day for a week. not enough to get in the game. but i took those and traded for others
Now ZEN is at $24

When you solo mine you get the entire block reward....which varies depending on what you are mining

Smartcash is only a few months old so it is easy at this point to generate 1-4 blocks a day

the difficulty goes up and down depending on the block you are hashing on

Every smartcash block is at 240 smart
so even at mere cents you are pulling in more than average right now

running windows 7
The CPU doesn't have much if anything to do with GPU mining
The difficulty will grow and the block reward will change over time yes
The calculation goes like this per smartdev

SmartCash Parameters
Coins per Block: 5000 coins (with gradual reduction per equation below)

Blocktime: 55 seconds
Maximum supply: 5,000,000,000
Blocksize: 1 MB (to be changed to Adaptive Blocks)
Algorithm: Keccak
Difficulty Management: BRNDF
BLOCK REWARD SPLIT:
20%
MINERS/SMARTREWARDS
80%
SMARTHIVE/HIVETEAMS

There wasn't a premine, the block reward is calculated as 5000x(143,500/block height) with a maximum block reward of 5000. After block 143,500 the block reward will start decreasing.

Have a dedicated computer "rig" for this I got off craigslist for $100

It runs 24/7 mining

if it gets used for multiple other tasks like web browsing and others the miner can crash and you have to restart which is frustrating

I simply walk by the office and look at the screen to see if the miner has solved a block

if it has i do a little crypto dance

get 2 or three NVIDIA GPUs and a desktop computer preferably windows but people do this on mac too
Nvidia seems to hash faster than the AMDs. had one and sold it
also Nvidia and AMD run on seperate mining software so if you have a combination of both you will need to run two miners/2 .bat files/2.config it just doubles the difficulty

There are a ton of walkthroughs on youtube for setting up rigs and lists of exactly what you need to begin

from my experience i prefer all nvidia

You will need a psu (power supply) for plugging in your rig so you dont blow up your house
you will need to buy additional risers pcie16x-1x powered riser adapter cards to plug each additional GPU into
these will not fit in your normal towers
mine gpus are sitting on a book and ontop of the tower connected by the power supply to rig

When it comes to what mining software you will use it depends on what algorithm you would like to hash on
each coin hashes on its own chosen algorithm and people prefer one over others and this can drive why they prefer a coin over others
The other thing mining software depends on is what GPU you run. some miners may support nvidia but not amd or amd not nvidia or only CPU
YES all of this works with a cpu too
its a beautiful beast
