MANDALAY BAY. How was the second window broken if Paddock had not busted down the door joining Hodge's and Paddocks rooms?

If they breached the room on the top left here [ link to www.latimes.com] Again, who broke the window in Hodge's room. I can see people will say that this was the door they broke open, and Paddock broke the interior door to Hodge's room therefore they did not need to breach the door to Hodge's room. But in a hotel, the only door with a lock is the entry door, and IF there is a door to a different room number.
