That said, this doesn't mean I'm right, it means its simply my opinion based on my experience. EGGS Don't put in fridge, that said doing so will prolong their shelf life, just buy less :) BOILED place in boiled water - not bring to boil - too hit and miss, ie different temperature/heat levels If egg busts open when placed in boiling water, discard. If egg leaks tiny amount of white, stick with it, it will quickly seal, like egg repair in car radiator. Length of time - personal preference and egg size. for soft eggs for nicoise salad or similar reduce time by 30% and plunge in cold water........nice congealed yolk. Will cover, poached, scrambled later.....need some lunch :):hf: Last Edited by Food Ninja on 11/01/2017 11:53 AM |

But rarely can stand to eat them, mostly just in cooking, in batter or muffins or pancakes. BluScion User ID: 75121884 United States 11/01/2017 01:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You know what's crazy? I added some macchiato this morning to my scrambled eggs and it didn't taste good. So I added just a touch of half n half (maybe...2 teaspons) to the eggs then it tasted ok. So I added some of my hazelnut creamer mixture to it and some more macchiato (about a teaspoon) and the scrambled eggs were AMAZING. :O |

Poached eggs w/ hollandaise sauce, eggs poached in tomato sauce or plain are delish. One could add a bit of salt and pepper or butter/olive oil if preferable. Any sort of egg, whether sunny side up, scrambled, poached, etc. mixed w/ or served atop grits are magnificent tbh. Bacon, sausage or any other breakfast meat(s) season and highlight the dish. Boiled eggs alone or made into egg salad are great too. Creme Brulee, custard, pecan pie..the list goes on.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75188523 Good |

Some salt and pepper after they've cooled just a bit. I eat the surrounding white first then pop the whole yolk in my mouth so none of it is wasted. If the yolk busts on the plate, I mop it up with a piece of toast. Toast, jelly, orange juice. Breakfast complete. |
