Family Ties was a bit to syrupy sweet to me, although I got a kick out of Michael Gross playing a gun nut in the Tremors movies. |

I’m so glad to see that so many people responded with the first thought I had too. It is on ME-TV every night. I watch it at 9:30. So funny! Truth and Facts - The two words liberals hate most! Suffering is burning emotional energy on the uncontrollable! The architect of the universe did not build a stairway to nowhere! |

Quoting: Eli eX It was, without question, much better than the shitty time we live in right now. It was better than the 2000s bigly. And it kicked the shit out of the 90s as well. If you never had Big League Chew or Planters Cheez Balls, well, you can fuck right off. With this in mind, what TV sitcoms do GLPers hold in high regard? My vote: This show was the very definition of the 1980s. It had it all. Brain-dead hippie parents from a bygone, failed era. The prodigal son, who would one day restore the honor of the country through his belief in Reagan. And of course Jennifer, who contributed absolutely nothing to the show. Just thinking back to the 80s, some popular sitcoms I can recall are The Cosby Show, Cheers, and Growing Pains. Maybe Full House too, but I think that was more 90s. Get to it! UK best 80's comedy = Only fools ans horses. USA best 80's comedy = Cheers |
