HUGE Comcast outage

No issues in our office here in SW Virginia, however we are getting calls of customers not able to get on our website.

We currently have 1800 + remote workers down.

What a way to start the week :/

It`s rather slow here in the south bay, thanks for the heads up opie, I thought my neighbor was using all my bandwidth (he has permission to use it).

I am having problems here. I cannot go to most websites, and when I can, they do not want to load. I had a hard time connecting to GLP.

Having trouble in the Bay Area since last night. Now FB and Twitter are not accessible through desktop or laptop on Comcast.

North Miami and it has been slow at times.

Comcast is tricky, they like to overbill ya.

Examples:

They tried to charge me for router rental, have my own for over a year now, my profile list the brand and model of my devise.

About every 3 months the invoice increases because they say autopay is off.

75 mbps blast comes in at low 30 to med 40, when I confronted them at our local store they admitted it doesn't reach 75.

Wonder why people hate them so much? Duh

Level3 just let us know the issue is on their end and they are working to resolve.

OP doesn’t the name of the contract company you work for happen to start with the letter S?

Can confirm, serious Comcast internet issues in and around Utah.

Having major issues in Washington state. Lots of latency issues.

Elements of the US Department of Defense (DOD) will conduct a “communications interoperability” training exercise November 4-6, once again simulating a “very bad day” scenario. Amateur Radio and MARS organizations will take part.

“This exercise will begin with a notional massive coronal mass ejection event which will impact the national power grid as well as all forms of traditional communication, including landline telephone, cellphone, satellite, and Internet connectivity,” Army MARS Program Manager Paul English, WD8DBY, explained in an announcement.

From the U.S. Army's Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM): The exercise will simulate a power-outage scenario; it will not impact any public or private communications. There will be no power outages or communication systems outages.

Traffic looks normal now.

F Centurylink. I had all services go down, internet, phone, and TV. When I called them for help they said the soonest they could get anybody out was 1 full week later. It wasn't even a problem on my end! F Centurylink!

Comcast internet was in-and-out this morning in northeast Florida (Jacksonville). Seems to have stabilized now. Speed and connectivity is normal.
