I'm still trying to buy it. I got advice here to use coinbase so I opened an account but it won't take either of my debit cards. I don't know why.

I think that the Coinbase Earn feature where you earn crypto for free by watching videos and taking quizzes, has paid for whatever fees I've incurred on the platform. You earn odd coins then you can trade them for what you want, XRP or XLM or whatever. Also I made a Kraken account, I'm completely registered with them, but you can't use Kraken in Washington State! Isn't that dumb. I thought it would change when Kraken became a bank. Maybe it will soon.
