Not only that, there is a very good reason why alien existence is denied. Think of all the people who are prejudice against other races and creeds.

I agree in principle but for one major point.

The "alien" agenda if you will represents part of the same, if it was me i would probably go for "get it as quickly as possible somewhere public to get maximum exposure" purely because the chances of it's being there undiscovered for any length of time by the "authorities" is VERY limited and we can guess what they will do to it.

If exposed it's saftey as an indovidual, given responsibility should in theory be assured (unless the PTB wish to get rid of a city full of witnesses)AND it opens the door for disclosure on technology...which we need to combat soem of the prorblems of this planet.

Think of if you were in that situation. You happen to be on another world collecting data or maybe simply just having a wonderful nightwalk.. Suddenly you run into an alien, native to that world. He's all excited and scared because he's never seen an "alien" before and your existence is relatively repressed on this world.

So, without asking your permission, he captures you and takes you to a place where there are many aliens and they're talking really loud, asking questions and flashing lights in your face all the time. You are exhausted and tired and want to go home.

After this, you are transferred into what seems to be their version of a high security military base. You don't know much, just that they want you to give them some of your world's technology. And that there is a huge battle of whether you are truly sentient or not and whether or not you deserve rights.

You also do not want to give up some of this "other" technology that they keep talking about. After all, you have studied the developement of these creatures yourself and know that with the more powerful technology must come a more evolved sense of humanity worldwide. These creatures are not ready for this technology and will only think of ways to make it into a more destructive force.

And even more now, you are home sick. You miss your family, your friends, and your own world. But they won't let you go. There is a war going on over you and they won't let you go.
