as a young person in the 80s, i remember a rumor about rod stewart swallowing so much semen before a gig he had to cancel the show.

Rumors and BS. Like I said, the fastest runner on earth is still the fastest runner and top athelete, even if a stupid rumor was true. Not that they often are, eh? He was a wonderful artist, poet, song writer, singer. Wonderful to what? You blind sheep walking to your deathbeds? Obviously you're a youngster or you would be able to relate to how & why Rod Stewart has touched some of our lives. He has numerous hits that are fun, sexy and heartbreaking... So STFU & go play in a stream or something..
