Bizarre Naked Canadian Kidnapping Case Allegedly Caused by Hallucinogenic Indian Tea

"An Alberta family allegedly kidnapped by a group of naked neighbours, who may have unknowingly drunk some hallucinogenic tea, say it was a frightening experience.

And the family members say until they learn more facts about what happened, they don't know how to feel about the ordeal.

"We just don't have enough information," said one family member, who asked not to be named. "We have no answers as to whether anything was purposely taken or not purposely taken."

What drug/type of tea would make a family of sedate Jehovah witnesses get naked, kidnap their neighbours, forcing one into the trunk, ram the truck that rescued them, be charged with kidnapping,resisting arrest, and mischief and THEN have no memory of the event? Bath salts? Scopolamine?

Maybe bath salts? Never heard of the effects of bath salts tea...but the effects of smoking do seem to include psychosis, nudity, and bodily control (eating somebody's face while naked could be just as deliberate as kidnapping and driving while naked...)

"The family members were reluctant to share their experience because of the ongoing court case, but they told The Canadian Press they know the accused as neighbours. They are all members of the same Jehovah's Witnesses church.

When one of the female accused showed up at the family's home in Leduc County south of Edmonton on Monday morning, clothed and acting frantic, they thought there must be an emergency.

But the family said with her were four other people who were naked and the family was forced outside and into a BMW.

The man was allegedly put in the trunk and his daughter and her baby in the car with the others."

"Inside the truck, Scott said, was a man, his daughter and her six-week old baby who had been allegedly kidnapped.

And from the car he saw police and firefighters pull out five people in the buff.

"The guy had to do the walk of shame in front of everybody, then two more women did the walk of shame in front of everybody ... then the one lady was the last to be removed — she put up the biggest fight," Scott said.

"It was a pretty wild fight. It took five people to get her out."

He said the suspects all had their hands cuffed behind their backs.

"There was no covering."
