NFL Team Los Angeles Chargers Disrespect US Flag and Service Member on Twitter
The Chargers are the most poorly run team in sports. They used an old picture that former San Diego fans had submitted while overseas, and cropped out the SAN DIEGO and in doing so cropped out part of the US flag and a service member lying in front of the flags. No one in LA is a fan, and SD is a military town that believes in respect and loyalty, neither of which the Spanos family has shown to anyone.

"The Los Angeles Chargers manage to create controversy, even when they’re trying to do something nice.

In honor of “Salute to Service” week, the team tweeted on Tuesday a photo of members of the military in combat uniforms posing with an American flag and Chargers flag.

Then they got busted by people who’d seen the photo before.

The original photo, as posted on the Twitter account of @fightforsd, shows that the Chargers flag had “San Diego” on the bottom of the logo. In the edited version, that “San Diego” is cropped out.

Worse, they cropped off the bottom of the American flag.

And still worse: They also cropped out a military member laying in front of the flags.

The comment from @fightforsd directed toward Chargers owner Dean Spanos: “You don’t crop out history, Dean.”

As of Wednesday morning, the tweet remained up and the Chargers had done nothing to change it."
