We moved cities a while back.
Had good quality furniture, lawn mower, whiteware etc

Rang the "fabulous" folk at Goodwill to see if they wanted it as we were going to buy all new stuff when we arrived.

They told us they would take it but it would cost us $250 for them to pick it up.

I asked them what happens to it then ....
They sell it.

Ended up giving it all away for free. Didn't want to sell it but sure as fuck wasn't going to pay them to take it away & for them to then sell it.
