Why would anybody actually want to play these shitty songs written by Charlie Manson? Now we are getting somewhere. Beach Boys were obviously on allot of drugs like everyone else, maybe more. But it is very intersting that Charlie was hanging out at celebrity parties and being introduced to big shots. Then he got into ritual killings. |

Considering how many hits the Beach Boys had, I wonder why they'd sing a mediocre song by Manson. Is there some kind of hypnosis or something woven into this song? Subliminal impact? If he knew the Beach Boys, he knew the Beatles. Wonder who else he knew. Who was Charles Manson, really? He's not what they've told us he is. He was hanging out with the Beach Boys. They thought he was cool. Probably because they were so high on LSD? They tried to get him a record deal and the producer almost gave him a shot but the live performance was a little too ahead of its time apparently. So Charlie and his angels went over to his house one night, only he had moved and Roman Polanski/ Sharon Tate were the new tenants. Or so they say. Manson didn't go anywhere, he never killed anyone. I doubt if he ordered this either. I think the real story is very different. It probably doesn't involve Manson at all except as very 60s scape goat. |

So why would they play them, they have their own much better music. Were they getting something from him? Was he a go-between of some sort? Were there subliminal messages implanted in this? I can understand maybe him as a hanger on...but not them actually playing and recording his inferior music. That implies obligation of some sort. |
