I've lost entire days while on tour.
So many unrecognizable places you fall into habits to keep your focus.
At times you just cant fathom whose paying the bills to let you express yourself.
It just rolls.
Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflattus I pass by the Marathon Coach building on the way down to Market. They always have at least 4, and sometimes up to 8 of the coaches parked out so everyone driving I-5 can see them. I know 10 years ago, some were close to a million dollars to buy. I always wonder if the bands would just rent them. Reminds of this song. [ link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Quoting: Seer777 Yeah...but most folks havent a clue that all money is fronted... Spend at your leisure...but the piper is paid against the advances. I sleep as well in the passengers seat as a sleeper. Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflattus That makes sense. So then the band is essentially viewed as a ROI, and not artists or people. Contract then becomes a form slavery. I was thinking earlier on the way home, why I don't enjoy certain bands I use to love anymore. Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Sublime,...if one of their songs come on now, I skip em. I use to love em.
