Why are all these women suddenly coming forward with rape allegations....so many years later and all at once?

If the claims being made are true (which I wouldn't doubt, considering Hollywood and Washington are full of creeps) why didn't they speak up at the time? Why wait 10+ years to report something and then all of a sudden 20 other women also have been sexually assaulted by the same person?? It makes no sense to me at all.

And along those same lines, I wonder how many of them really even know what rape or sexual assault is....I saw a thread on a different sight yesterday where a girl had said she consented to sex with someone but later regretted it, and another woman told her she'd been raped. She admitted consent, and they still were telling her it was rape! Like what in the world?!

But really, WHY are these women waiting so long to come forward, and why are they just coming in troves like they are?? It almost makes me not believe the claims because it's so suspicious they way it's happening.
