my friend eats a lot of junk like this, trying to eat cheaply

he recently had an infection below his knee that would bothering him for days so he went to an urgent care center

his blood sugar was 500

I have been schooling him on food, like explaining basic food groups and stuff, like carbs, proteins, fats, just for that reason, because he’s getting older now and can’t just eat anything

so they told him he’s got type II diabetes

the biggest thing that pushed him over the edge probably was that he was drinking 4-10 sodas every day

Green beans are cheap. Celery is cheap. In some cheap stores you can buy a large serving of any number of vegetables for about a dollar. Eggs are cheap. You can grow lettuces and wheat grass cheap. Mung beans are cheap and you can sprout them.

Soda is really bad. If he can't just quit he can switch to Perrier. He can also learn to make fermented ginger ale. It's not difficult, it satisfies the cravings for sweet tangy bubbly things, and won't kill him.

perrier is just as bad, it’s the carbonation, I have even tested perrier myself with ph drops, it’s between 2 and 3, that means there is acid forming hydrogen available in it

when you drink a low ph liquid, the hydrogen mixes with acid minerals in your body and forms acids, like phosphorous to phosphoric acid, sulfur to sulfuric acid and chlorine to hydrochloric acid, the same acid your stomach makes to digest meat

all the carbonated waters like perrier, san peligrino, even club soda, all bad because it’s the low ph and not just the sugar in soda that will mess with you

Interesting. I like carbonated water but will have to look more into the PH thing.

I know small doses of low PH can cause a reaction for bile that being your actual PH back higher than where it was.

That's why it's good to start the day off with a glass of lemon water.
