ESPN will cut $80 million in salaries in upcoming layoffs: report
[link to www.nydailynews.com]

ESPN is expected to cut millions of dollars in salaries when layoffs happen in the near future.

Sporting News is reporting ESPN will slash about $80 million in salaries and other costs when the third round of layoffs in two years come down after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. The network reportedly plans to part ways with over 100 staffers.

The latest round of layoffs is expected to impact positions on the television side, producers, executives and those in digital and technology, according to Sports Illustrated. SportsCenter is expected to be "hit hard" by the cuts and current on-air talent could soon be unemployed.

This past April, ESPN laid off over 100 reporters and personalities, including big-name talents such as Trent Dilfer, Ed Werder and Danny Kanell.

^THIS!

I wonder how long it will be or how much more it will take for these people to begin turning on their former employers and we start hearing the stories about what they were told to say & do to further the "agenda"?

Great. Other social engineering corporations have recently felt the sting of declining revenues and profits. Target stores (same sex bathrooms push of early 2016) has resulted in a decline in their stock from about $80 down into the $50s, while WalMart has surged. Also Starbucks has stalled (hiring refugees policy) after years of rapid growth, while Dunkins has grown in revenues during that time span. People are finally waking up to the globalism agenda in many of these corporate boardrooms.

People watch sports for mindless entertainment.

TPTB thought sinc e people were in a mindless state, they would be early programmed and not offer much resistance.

Whoever led them to believe this was wrong. If it isn't relaxing and now filled with race conflict then we as a collective will abandon it.

America goes to sports to forget about everything else, it's supposed to be it's own sub culture not a reflection of leftist views.

They done goofed.

Well the leftist CEOs are taking marching orders from Soros.

They had heavy investments and enjoyed many special perks but now they have decided to hold fast to the sinking ship and it's glorious.

Smart companies will see the writing on the wall and remember it next time someone mentions this BS in a meeting.

ESPNs longest running program 'Mike and Mike' ended last Friday after an 18-year run. This network is going down the tubes fast. All their talent are bolting for FS1.

It won't be long now.

I'm 45 and I grew up watching ESPN. The three real reason why it is failing is because it went away from what made it so successful.

1. Pushing the libtard agenda. Be conservative you just insulted at least half your audience.

2. Got to black. Sorry but it's the truth. Pushing hip hop and the thug life culture pushed out a large number of their white audience.

3. Female announcers. Again this something that nobody in the media has the balls to say. Call me all the names you want but it's the truth. Males make up probably 95% of their target audience and they don't want some butch female doing the play by play of their favorite college football team or hearing one do the Sunday Night baseball game.

So good riddance and goodbye ESPN and to all my follow Generation X'ers and who were dumb enough to name their kids Espn who's the dumbass now lol

Thank you, thank you, thank you for saying that! Yes! I really can't stand ANY of the females on set or on the sidelines. Not because I have a problem with women but because I get so sick of women trying to take over anything men want to do. Fuck man, if you want women so badly on the set of a sports show, dress them up in cheerleader outfits and have them waving pom-pom's on the side. I don't want to hear their fake takes on sports they never played or followed until they realized they could make money doing it.
