Pixar co-founder and Walt Disney Animation chief John Lasseter is taking a six-month leave of absence citing 'missteps' with employees.

We have gone from raping kids to forcing themselves on someone else, to dating kids to inappropriate age dating to now, finally....flirting. He goofed with women he worked with. And rather than handling it in house with some kind of reprimand and apology....Lasseter is now the bogeyman of Pixar.

It is almost unreal to watch. Pretty soon no person will talk to any other person for fear of being taken wrong and being reported.

I have to assume he was in charge of Children's Entertainment.

I can see Disney doing this to him. Lasseter was admired by many, but there was also some bad blood there.

He was first employed by Disney Studios as an animator. They fired him because he wanted to expand beyond the Disney way. It really messed him up.

He then took his talents, started Pixar, and proceeded to whoop Disney's ass all up and down Animation Street.

He's been treated like royalty since the merger and I'm sure many of those little Disney drama queens weren't to happy about that.

I get the impression Disney feels Lasseter is expendable again. Their new obsession is their Star Wars and Marvel enterprises.

All these claims are getting absurd. People are losing careers based solely on accusations.

Disney will regret this.

He is a key figure in Pixar as well as the reason Studio Ghibli films were imported (and handled with respect). So yes. But that does not mean anything by itself. It's not like the animators are kids.

Too bad the stoopid fat American Sheeple let real evil cannibal pedos get away with their crimes.

Moana was a good animation, but it competes with Pixar. Literally no one is doing hand drawn anymore. It's an entire genre that ripe for the taking.

Disney should go back to their roots and turn out solid hand drawn again. People will return.

Let Pixar dominate the CGI animation.

I'm a woman, and I do know people who work at Disneyland. I've briefly met Mr. Lasseter. He used to be in the park a lot.

I don't work there at all. I don't know the details. If he raped someone, arrest him. The law is the law.
