Another woman accused Rep. John Conyers of sexual harassment

A former scheduler for the congressman alleged that in 2016 he rubbed her shoulders, kissed her forehead and attempted to hold her hand. The woman attempted to file a sealed lawsuit against Conyers in February, but abandoned it the next month.

A Conyers spokesman told the news outlet that the former staffer "voluntarily decided to drop her case.”

Other staffers alleged that he made requests for sexual favors, inappropriately touched staffers and used congressional resources to transport women that they believed he was having affairs with at the time.

Conyers on Tuesday issued a statement "vehemently" denying the initial harassment allegations, but acknowledged the existence of the settlement.
