I always felt a bit sorry for him. He was actually very talented but most of his peers and their fans never took him seriously as a musician because of his Tiger Beat teen idol image. He would always be Keith Partridge. If luck had been different, he might have ended up in a serious rock band, but family ties landed him on a teeny bopper sitcom and I think that was what drove him to addiction and depression.

I saw that clip with David Cassidy, and I realize what we might lose if we keep letting these politically correct retards go full retard. last night I was watching a movie and I could not put my finger on the actor playing the mother I thought she was the mum from the Brady bunch but was not sure, All the way through the movie I trying where did I see her many years ago.. well the movie was the holiday engagement staring partridge mum as the mother in the movie as I search partridge family..

It's not that big of a goal to start a rock band. Why didn't he do it, if he wanted that? He had the money. He probably didn't have enough drive and motivation - he was carried around by TV producers and already with a paycheck.

I had a poster of the partridge family on my wall when I was in public school, but didn't idolize Cassidy or find him to be my type. The show was great, watched it always. My friend had a huge crush on Sean Cassidy and Leif Garrett!
