fly away from earth at 25,000 miles per hour, will be decelerated by gravity to zero speed within an hour.

no rockets able to fly to the moon from earth under 1 g deceleration.

am i correct?

Yep, at 25,000 mph you would not escape the gravitational pull...

You have to achieve at least 7 miles per second or more to do that. That means 25,200 mph or more...
