Why do old people pretend to lose their voice so people think they're cute?

Will be funny when you get old. Think about that and remember this day when you are old.

The vocal cords don't work as well when you get old. It's actually kind of embarrassing to not be able to speak in a clear strong voice any more.

Never heard of this .. . ... is this a big city thing ? I live in the country where girls are real and I guess more sane ? A woman without psych issues is like finding a 6 lb golden meteorite with a six ct diamond stuck in it. Could hapen. Probably NOT ......

My kid volunteered at the old folks home for a day. They all had dementia and other things that made them out of their head. Except one lady who was fully coherent.

She had pictures of her family and missed them terribly. My kid knows her grandchild and she asked about her.

This lady is sane in an insane environment, I think her family should be shot.

When I talk to my mother on the phone, we're both coughing and clearing our throats. It's very strange to hear your voice and you sound like an old lady even though in your mind you are still young! Your voice needs to warm up but it's hard if you have no one to talk to. Old lives are lonely.
