On a side note, speaking of strange. My dreams last night were filled with images of an eclipse like event, where the skies were completely darkened, yet a large very bright star or something solid was eclipsed by a large jagged meteor . It apparently hit earth.

The opening of this dream had me gazing at the night sky. The Crescent moon which was waxing lined up completely at the very end of the bottom edge of its crescent with a very bright star. ** Picture a crescent with a bright star appearing to touch the moons crescent, not actually touching, just the appearance of touching**

It was one of the most doomy dreams that I have had in many years.

Upon waking my first thought was the book of Revelations and the 3 days of darkness.

Hence doom.

Blame those fuckheads writing it in the first place, grazing means to touch and go, there is no touch, even the moon is closer, i vote we push those people who wrote it in the nearest harbor.

let's say it's travelling at 40,000 mph. that means it's 50 hours away. if it crosses our path at this speed, it means it misses us by two days. also at that distance and speed, even a small miscalculation could see it on a collision course with earth. this is why it's a "close call." a monster of this size or similar only has to hit us once to end civilization.

a couple of years back, i actually complained to the press complaints commission about a very similar story to this, published by another Uk shitrag, and they came back to me saying the paper 'didnt have a case to answer'

2 million miles is not a GRAZE, that is a very safe distance. 477800 or 2 lunar distances is a GRAZE, ave even then some don't consider it a GRAZE unless it is 1/2 lunar distance as that is the extent of the exosphere.
