Could do with Fat Lenard Scandal?
Quoting: Shamrock007 Fat Leonard plead guilty in Jan 2015 and is still awaiting sentencing. Is this legal to hold someone for so long in a kind of judicial limbo. If so, it is scary. The man is not a US citizen, he is a Malaysian. Is this legal? If he plead then he’s probably cooperating and thus holding off on the sentencing. When you plea, you waive all rights to appeal. So are you saying that as the investigations continue, Leonard cooperates with the Feds in a deal that if he spends, say, 3 years in pre-sentencing, then he gets sentenced to 5, that he will only have to serve two because they will count the pre-sentence time?
