So far the abnormalities point to tilting so that we in the US are closer to the equator (Australia as well) but Argentina is closer to the South Pole, which would explain the dude saying it was snow and rain during his "summer" season. Not enough feedback for that theory though. We need to hear from some people who are south of the equator as well.
