HULU: Is anyone else having problems with Hulu running correctly?

Use Kodi with the covenant addon... all problems solved.

Hulu is a joke of a streaming service. You have to pay for it, they show commercials and it buffers like crazy. Is it any wonder that it is owned comcrap/nbc universal!!

I don't even know what Kodi is. What is that?

I've tried to use my new laptop I just got yesterday, but on the hulu login page there's a captcha function and it's not working either. I've tried entering the captcha words numerous times, and it just keeps resetting saying I have to do the captcha again. That's frustrating.

I happily pay for a subscription so I don't get any ads. I've used Hulu for almost two years now, and this is the first time I've had any problems.

I buy minutes for my phone, and don't want to blaze through them on hold.

So, what I want to know is if anyone else is having problems the past two days. I'm not looking to be told how crappy Hulu is, it's been great so far.

Its called internet throttling. Illegal, but its being done..

Sheesh, even GLP is running a little hinky today. I've had multiple posts of the same posts and it's running a little slower than usual.

HULU fucking sucks.

Hmmm...could it be because I now have two laptops on my wireless router instead of just one?

I should be able to run two laptops on the one router, right?

Actually, now that I've thought about it, Hulu was doing this before I set up my new laptop. I remember because I called my son to see if he was having problems with it, and he couldn't log in because of the captcha problem.

GLP is running funky, too. Sometimes the pages aren't loading the whole way and it's being slow.

No, cant say that I am. But then again I do not use them, screw Hulu, there are much better options available.

Shoo-whee! I finally found out what the problem was. I needed to clear my cache.

Problem all resolved....

throttling is when your ISP slows the packets to get you to buy higher speeds.

Yeah, I googled that to see what it was, but my cache was full....if that's how it's even said.

My provider is good. I didn't think it was them.

your pc should do that automatically wtf are you using vista or 2000?

Hmmm, I'm not seeing anything that denotes it clears automatically.

Yes, I went there again, but I don't see anything to switch it to automatic clearing. I'm using Chrome.

click settings scoll down click advanced you will see the box. setting are 3 dots upper right corner.

Ahh, well, at least I know where and how to clear my cache and cookies now.

One of these days I might just become more proficient with my tech knowledge....

i use chrome it clears every hour.

Yes, I've gone and looked a couple of times now. It's okay, lovey. Next time my son comes over I'll see if he'll find what you're talking about for me. Otherwise, at least I know how to clear it on my own.

Heh, I was so happy with my Hulu chat tech guy that I had him send me to his supervisor to tell that person how great his tech was with me! My good deed for the day! Yay!

You can try resetting your internet modem by unplugging the power cord for a few minutes before reconnecting it...

Next step would be to test your internet speed and make sure you aren't experiencing any issues on that end...

If your internet is otherwise functioning normally, then the issue is most likely on the streaming service's end...

I wish I could take a basic computer class, one that's designed specifically for my new HP. There's some stuff that I know, but there's more that I don't know. Sheesh, I'm embarrassed I didn't know about clearing my cache...but I do now
