Puerto Rico needs to start paying federal income taxes. The only way to do that would be through statehood.

A few years ago a good friend of mine planned a trip to Puerto Rico and asked if I'd join him.

My reply was "Hell no!!! There's too many Puerto Ricans over there..."

He didn't find it as humorous as I planned it to be.
