I am up a little over 1k via litecoin just today!

Litecoin is up 61.86% over 24 hours.

And a savings account / GIC is paying out 2.35% tops!

People are making a lot of money here but beware a big crash could ruin everything , a lot of people are getting carried away , this can't carry on for ever , can it ?

Yes it is a gift and for me a blessing.
I was loosing trading what little BTC I had in NEO, XEM, and LTC. I saw my BTC balance go down with trading and exchange fees.

Three days ago I gave up and decided to just hold my Litecoin.

Not going to worry about when it was at $67.00 and I sold it.

Today is a new day! Charlie Lee did what he said he was going to do via promotion and awareness.

Today's volume and LTC moving up to place number 4 on the coinmarketcap.com charts.

Bitcoin came out in 2009, litecoin 2015 - Litecoin has the same opportunity to get to 20K just like Bitcoin and make 4 x as many people wealthy in it as opposed to Bitcoin.

There is less than 1% of the population who own any crypto currency. So there is plenty of opp for market cap growth.

Look at Bitcoincash @ $1500.00 - Litecoin will be there in 60 days at this pace.

How bout POPULOUS (PPT) up 185% ove 7days. I bought $450 worth a week ago on a tip from JSNIP4. OmiseGo is down a poised to jump. I'm all in on it!

Asia is buying LTC like mad. They are not wanting a US regulated market to control BTC growth.

re the futures bit I agree. when short contracts are out there people will flock out of it just because of the contracts on the order books.

I hope more will get out of BTC and into LTC.

I gave up on OMG. OmiseGo was my first ever trade from BTC. Had I held I would have missed out on the BTC rocket ride.

Hey John, TRON was my fist alt coin trade besides Litecoin. I bought a bunch expecting it to moon from a tip. It did nothing at all. Some chines token. I sold it about a month ago for basically what I was in it for. Now its up %100 or whatever.

The key is, coins that can be mined with low circulation.

Can you use a credit card to buy crypto currency ?

Say I buy $500 BTC & $500 LTC and hold...

It would pay the card off in under 90 days no?

Alts have every chance to go to the moon for sure.
I have been in and out of close to ten alts some good trades some bad. Got caught holding the bag for 519 PRG

I bought a million BCN and was hoping it would go to the moon , even if it went up to a buck I would have made it bigtime. But you never know. A chance to buy l;ow and sell high is a traders prerogative, Litecoin is a holder IMHO

I've been watching GDAX all night ... As a new investor in crypto, I find it fascinating to watch the trades.

I have GDAX set to Candle/1m/both EMA overlays.

I'm seeing the same large holdings traded back and forth ... One day, I hope to trade 100's of LTC at a time.

This is exciting to watch.. 6 min ago it traded at $264. I think the wick implies it will keep going up, and the EMA lines show the same trend... For the immediate trades anyway..

Based on past performance you could well double what you buy no matter the funding source. Some people are using home equity lines of credit and are doing very very well.

Ok, sorry to spoil the party, but I need to reign in the excitement a bit...

Buying LTC is extremely risky. I expect us to have a multi-year bear market like the one we just had where LTC dropped 90% in value ($48 to $4). So if you can't handle LTC dropping to $20, don't buy!
