In your opinion, what makes 8bit a good option?

I'm going with ethereum because it is based on something real and relavent: transaction energy.

Buy ripple(xrp) and just hold onto it. Mastercard, Bill Gates, all kinds of companies are backing ripple. It's supposed to be huge. It doubled overnight last night and is still pretty cheap.

Check out Stratis

It's similar to ETH but earlier in development. The biggest thing going for it right now is that it utilizes the C# language that most coders already know so it's theoretically easier to use to build dApps.

They also have the Breeze wallet which has a lot of nice capabilities built into it.

Right now it's sitting around $10 and I've read it has 10x potential from here.

I took some of my LTC profits and bought some XRP. I'm going to HODL for a while and hope that one day when I check in on ripple in the future I'll be rich :)

My suggestion is ARK up to $5.

Should at least 3 or 4X next year, maybe a lot more.

In no particular order:

1. GVT (Genesis Vision Trust) A platform for brokers and investors in a market that is estimated to be about 70 TRILLION USD by 2020. Yes, trillion with a t. 4.3 million total coins in circulation, platform requires brokers and individual investors to use their token, developers only have 15% of the tokens which they must hold for 1 year. Think Charles Schwab for crypto (they will be doing FOREX and other investments, too).

2. ZCL (Z Classic) A privacy coin fork of ZCash that has been revitalized by the original developers, so it has a lot of potential for growth in the next 3-6 months. Privacy coins are very desirable and this one is way undervalued.

3. XLM (Stellar Lumens) This is similar to Ripple (which I also recommend), but this one will be used as a platford similar to Ethereum. It was just announced that Kin is testing XLM and will use it in the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2018 instead of Eth if all goes well. Also has a partnership with IBM for cross-border payments that are fast with low fees. All-time high is about 3000 sats, and that was before the IBM announcment. Great short and long-term potential.

There are many other good projects, but you really need to do your own research so that recommendations you get are targets of your research rather than roadmaps. Never blindly trust anybody online and learn as much as you can. Tommy World Power on youtube has a good video outlining the process he goes through when he's researching a coin:
